Day Skipper Combined Course
This combined practical and theory course will enable you to gain the full RYA Day Skipper certification in just nine days. Throughout the course you will be residential on board one of our training yachts. The Theory elements will take place in our fully equipped classroom close to the boat in Gosport Marina.
9 Day Theory and Practical - Combined Course
This combined practical and theory course will enable you to gain the full RYA Day Skipper certification in just nine days. Throughout the course you will be residential on board one of our training yachts. The Theory elements will take place in our fully equipped classroom close to the boat in Gosport Marina. Combining your theory and practical allows us to make best use of the sailing weather. After two days in the classroom introducing chartwork, buoyage and other navigational techniques, you will then set sail to complete various practical exercises and navigation around the Solent staying overnight in different harbours. You will return to the classroom towards the end of the week to complete the theory and take the assessments. The week will finish on the boat putting all your newly learnt skills into practise.
Breakfast is provided throughout the course, lunches, evening meals and snacks when out sailing. All mooring fees are included, diesel and wet weather gear should it be required.

Minimum : Competent Crew certificate or equivalent and above in terms of skills and experience.
